-------------------------------------------

The 2014 Bromham Show - 'Bromham's Community Event of the Year' took place on Sunday 13th July and although the weather wasn't quite what we'd hoped for, we again saw thousands of visitors.

This year's show was opened by the coach (Mike Rayer) and members of the Bedford Blues rugby team. They also performed an impressive rugby skills display for us.

We welcomed for the first time Jive Pony, who performed some amazing synchonised acrobatics and free walking on horseback - all set to music

We had two very different displays involving dogs - we saw the return of the very popular and entertaining Dog and Duck Show and also The Pacesetters dog agility team from Northamptonshire.

Classic Car Tour took place in the morning and all those lovely old vehicles then paraded around the central area at the showground.

Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the afternoon was the fly-past of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Spitfire aircraft, from RAF Coningsby. All three fly-pasts were cheered on by the crowds

The Bromham Community Choir provided us with a musical interlude, performing a number of classic tracks

As usual there will be Over 100 Exhibit Classes, the Bromham Junior football match and many side shows, rides and activities which everyone enjoyed.

As ever Bromham Show provided great value for money, with entry fees well below those of similar events around the country - after all, this is an event organised by the village community, for the village community.
